Interviews can be the best and worst part of the recruitment process. They are, of course, stressful and difficult as you want to get the job. However, they are also a great opportunity to find out more about the company you want to work for, the role and what you would be doing on a day to day basis. Try to think of an interview as a chat rather than an examination.
Interviews can be very different depending on the organisation. It is hard to know quite what to expect until you arrive. If you have used a recruitment consultant, ask them what they think it will be like. They may also be able to help you practise some interview questions and techniques. Find out about the company and the person who is going to be interviewing you so that you can go in with as much knowledge and as many facts as possible.
