Is your Job Living up to its Expectations?
Starting a new job is a truly exciting time and you will be filled with hopes and expectations about what your future career has to offer you. Once you are a few months into your new job, you may want to reassess and decide whether the position is living up to your expectations.
Think back to what you were told about the job, by your recruitment agent and your employer. Is the position living up to the information you were given? If you have any concerns you can address them with your boss. Keep a copy of any information you were given in order to have a reference to look back on.
If your job just isn’t living up to expectations and you feel the position isn’t as advertised, let people know. If nothing happens, it may be time to begin the job hunt once again. It’s not ideal but it is better to have a job you love.
